This is such an awesome video, very very cool. This video reminds me of my days as a skateboarder, back in the mid to late 70’s I was what they called an outlaw skater because back then in San Jose, California, you got a ticket if you were found riding (Racing) on the street. We did not have organized events like this video.
Now I’m in my mid 50’s so crashes hurt a bit more and it takes a bit longer to recover, But oh to ride like that just once more would be such a thrill. This is truly “Living Life’s Great Adventures”
This was easy for me because I still remember it like it was yesterday and it was just a small act of kindness which meant more to me at the time then if it had been something big.
I was working for Kaiser as a day shift security patrol. I was not having a great day, it was not a bad day but just one of those days that was not going right and was blah, you know those days when onesays “what am I doing”. Well I decided I need to get some coffee, so I went to the drive through at Starbucks. Once I was in line I suddenly realized this was going to take a few minutes which I didn’t have because while in line I got a call to respond to one of Kaiser’s clinic because they had asked for help with a customer who was getting out of control.
Well as the car in front of me pulled out and I drove up to the window and as they guy hand me my drink I handed him my credit card. The guy handed it back to me and said that it was already paid for. When I asked by who, Ok I really just said “What ?” with a shocked look on my face. He then said that the car ahead of me had paid for it. I didn’t know who was in the car or even get the chance to thank them for it.
It was nothing big or fancy, it was just a small simple act that has stuck with me for years and I try to do in like kind. That’s my encounter with a moment of kindness with a stranger.

This is an incredible video. With video cameras being able to be placed almost anywhere, people have been able to get some fantastic shots, such as this. This is truly living lives great adventures.
Years ago I was really into the whole skateboard thing, I had an everyday run of the mill skateboard. I rode that skateboard everywhere from skate parks to my friends house, I loved it.
Technology for years has worked to improve the skateboard, they’ve come up with all kinds of crazy ideas. But none are as crazy as their newest idea. How about a one wheeled electric skateboard? This thing looks like a unicycle for skateboards, and yes I did say electric. No more wearing out your feet, legs or even your shoes. You just jump on, get your balance, tilt the board in the direction you want to go and your off, it’s that simple. When I saw this video I thought “Oh man I’ve got to get me one of these” until I heard what the price was. There are 2 prices $1299 or $1399 depending on upgrades, I guess I won’t be getting one anytime soon.
Over all I think this is very cool and I really want to try it. Watch the video and tell me what you think. Would you get one?
this is easy, the very thing that drives me crazy is the very thing that also makes me happy. It’s some one I love very much. So my perspective would most likely never change.
Hey everyone I hope you all had a great holiday and that 2014 is even better. It seems that with the start of each New Year we seem to find it time to change things or do things better. For some of us we find it time to try something totally new and that’s what I want to talk to you about. Awhile back I did a survey as to what you would like to see more of on my blog “Living Life’s great adventures” and to my surprise you said you wanted to know more about me and my great adventures, so starting in the next few weeks I am going to try and introduce a thing I call “Know me better man”. Now before I tell you more let me explain the title, it comes from one of my favorite Christmas move “A Christmas carol” it is a line spoken by the ghost of Christmas present. With that said, now let me explain what I would like to do. You will be able to ask me anything you want with a few restrictions. Let’s deal with the 3 simple rules to follow, I will not answer any questions I feel are too personnel, 2: I won’t answer any questions that are legally questionable, 3: I won’t answer any questions that are not clean in nature. Follow these simple rules and I will try to answer them.
So what kind of question can you ask? Anything that you feel you might want to know about me, for example: anything as simple as what is my favorite color to what is my political view on something or even my opinion on something, what was my one of my greatest adventures, etc. Basically anything you want to know as long as it’s not within the 3 rules. Now I plan to try and answer all questions by video, so you will get to see me as well as hear what I have to say, I hope to jazz up the video a bit so it’s not just a boring video of me answering your questions. Please keep in mind I won’t be able to answer every question but I will do my best, Also the more specific the question the better.
